A dedicated and hardy crew of 15 volunteers at our monthly Second Saturday Work Party planted hundreds of daffodil and tulip bulbs to prepare the park garden beds for spring.

Thanks to their hard work and to a generous donation of bulbs from the Lilly Peabody Circle, areas to the west of the park’s main concourse will soon be blooming in bright yellow and red.

We hold work parties the second Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to noon. Meet us at the Black Sun sculpture if you’d like to help keep the park beautiful for everyone. No experience is necessary and we provide gloves and tools. Check the Events Calendar for more details.
