$20FROM FACEBOOK: It’s back! This ever-popular orchid class will help you better understand orchids so you can grow them easily in your home. Learn the basics from experienced orchid grower Mike Cory, who will cover an overview of orchid growing, the different species of orchids, common misconceptions and myths, followed by a Q&A and hands-on repotting workshop.
WHAT TO BRING:
Up to two orchids that need repotting
Optional: your own pots to repot them into
WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED:
Conservatory’s special orchid potting mix
Plastic pots to repot your orchids in
Gloves
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Mike Cory is the Secretary of the NW Orchid Society, as well as an experienced docent at the Conservatory. For fun, he grows about 300 orchids in his greenhouse and has been growing orchids for 25 years.
