POSTPONED: Growing Cactus & Succulents with Karen Summers

Karen Summers will discuss growing succulents and cactus indoors, including some plants that can be transitioned from inside to outside for the summer. We’ll examine plants, soil and top dressing first hand and Karen will also demonstrate how to repot a cactus, avoiding the thorns, and demonstrate some techniques for propagation.

Karen Summers, is a Friend of the Volunteer Park Conservatory and has been growing cactus and succulents since 1971 when she received her first Echinopsis.
