Join us for Summer Series at the Amphitheater featuring an evening with Lucien Postwaite, Whim W’him, The Seattle Project, and Dance Church on Thursday, August 11th from 5:30-8:30pm. Bring a picnic, your blanket, and your friends and family. Food trucks will also be available.
Dance Church® will be hosting a free special dance class before the performances from 5:30-6:30pm. Dance Church is beyond excited to be teaching their beloved format at the new Volunteer Park Amphitheater as a part of the Dance Dance Dance! Program on Thursday, August 11th. Dance Church is a dance fitness class that offers a fun and inclusive approach to dancing. The teacher leads a 60ish minute experience in a series of movement cues, and free dancing, accompanied by a curated playlist of multi-genre pop music. The format is open but guided throughout. All identities, bodies, and levels of experience are welcomed, but open mindedness is a prerequisite. Check-in begins at 5:00pm, with Dance Church class from 5:30-6:30pm at the Amphitheater! There will be a 30 minute break after class, then starting at 7pm the series of performances featuring Lucien Postlewaite, Whim W’Him, and The Seattle Project will begin. Sign up to reserve your spot in this free Dance Church class here!

Transportation
The Amphitheater in Volunteer Park can be reached by light rail (Capitol Hill Station) and Metro bus routes #10 and #49. Some parking is available in Volunteer Park, but we encourage use of public transportation.
