Join us for a delightful virtual experience as we celebrate breaking ground for the construction of the new Volunteer Park Amphitheater!
We’ll have short statements from luminaries, welcome shout-outs from our partners, and a delightful plunging of the shovel into the ground — all in under 10 minutes!
This event celebrates over five years of community outreach, public feedback, historical research, design development, and fundraising by Volunteer Park Trust, working with:
- ORA Architects
- Walker Macy Landscape Architects
- Seattle Parks and Recreation
- Friends of Seattle’s Olmsted Parks
- Seattle Parks Foundation
- Seattle Park District
- City of Seattle
- Seattle Landmarks Preservation Board, and
