Amphitheater project receives $1.5M in funding
Seattle Parks District’s Major Projects Challenge Fund has approved a $900,000 grant, and Seattle Parks and Recreation has confirmed an additional $415,000 in funding for the new facility’s public restrooms.

Work begins on water tower
Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) has begun work on the Volunteer Park Water Tower to reduce minor flooding on nearby pedestrian pathways.
