Karen Summers of the Cascade Cactus and Succulent Society will be hosting a lecture and leading a workshop for the Friends of the Conservatory. Karen will cover all the care, soils, etc of Cactus & Succulents. Then move to the dish garden design and planting. Each student will go home with a dish garden (includes dish, soil, three plants, and some decorations.)
About the Instructor
Karen Summers has been growing cactus and succulents since 1975 when she was given her first Echinopsis. She grows plants in the window sill, under lights, in a small hoop greenhouse and outdoors. She loves growing cactus and succulents from seed as well.
