EVENT DETAILS:
It’s time for our big summer art fundraiser! We are very excited that this year is an extra special event featuring TATTOO ART! Join us for the opening reception Saturday, July 20, see the posters on display and available for purchase in the Palm House Gift Shop through Sunday, July 28.

Opening reception will feature Emma Kates-Shaw (@thorn_pokes) and Justice Wolf (@ophidiaserpentes) doing stick and poke tattoos inside the Seasonal House and Bromeliad House. We will have custom Tattly temporary tattoo sheets available with tattoo flash from our participating artists. Glasswing will be in the Seasonal House providing the music and lush vibes, and a bar will feature Georgetown Brewing Company along with other tasty drinks to enjoy with the plants and art. More opening reception surprises to come, details TBA!

Plants N’ Pokes is an after-hours fundraiser for the Friends of the Conservatory so you can have a wonderful time and know your supportive dollars are contributing to the mission of the Friends of the Conservatory: To advocate and encourage preservation, public participation, and education with respect to the Volunteer Park Conservatory and its plant collection. The FOC is a community, non-profit organization that supports the Conservatory in cooperation with the Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation.

The capacity within the Conservatory building is limited per Fire Marshall requirements. All entry to the building to view the art and Conservatory collection will be subject to these capacity rules and may result in some wait time for entry. Purchase of Presale tickets does not ensure immediate entry to the building.
